Paid for by the Committees to Elect Parenti and Walsh, 66 E Main St, Somerville NJ 08876. Janet Linnus, Treasurer

On August 22 we called on Darrin to do the right thing, and to date, he has done nothing. In fact he has done nothing for exactly:

Darrin Russo, the Democratic-nominee for Sheriff has refused to pay-back taxpayers for disingenuously using paid-union time to line his pockets.

According to records obtained through the Open Public Records Act (OPRA), Russo accrued 1,006.5 hours of union-time from 2014 prior to his retirement in June of 2016 – or the equivalent of 83 paid days off.

His lack of action, and the fact that he believes he did nothing wrong is not the kind of leadership we need in Somerset County.

HOW MUCH LONGER CAN WE WAIT?

He was only interested in using union-time to line his pockets. He believes he should be paid for participating in charity and community events. Is that what charity is about? Getting paid?

WHOSE SIDE IS RUSSO REALLY ON?
